FHS-AFS will provide up to five Student Travel Awards, students are encouraged to apply! The student grant covers the full registration fee and most direct roundtrip economy airfare.
Eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria to apply for a student travel award are that the applicant:
- Must be a student (Masters or Ph.D./doctoral student), or newly graduated (within 6 months after graduation) at the time of the FHS Conference dates (please submit proof of student status).
- Must have filled-in and submitted the registration form.
- Must have submitted an abstract of presentation as presenting author for an oral presentation (online).
- Must have submitted the full paper by email to Dr Han-Ching Wang Wang ([email protected]) for assessment and evaluation purposes. The manuscript format must follow the Asian Fisheries Science guidelines.
